GOED Community Development Block Grant

The State Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program is a grant source that assists local governments with project funding. Projects previously funded include: community centers, fire halls, water and wastewater systems, and medical facilities. Funds are also available to assist local governments with economic development projects

Eligibility:
Eligible applicants are counties and incorporated municipalities (excluding Rapid City).  A county or municipality may apply for an”on-behalf” request for a sub-recipients.  A project must also meet one of the national objectives. Applicants must meet certain income qualifications.  Contact staff to determine if your community, area, or project qualifies.
